Important information

A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel. Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Italy hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. A tax is imposed by the city: from 1 January - 31 January, EUR 3.50 per person, per night for adults; EUR 1.70 per night for guests aged 10-16 years old. A tax is imposed by the city: from 1 February - 31 December, EUR 5.00 per person, per night for adults; EUR 2.50 per night for guests aged 10-16 years old. If guests are staying at a hotel within Venice and they need to pay a tourist tax, they are exempt from the access fee, but must have a QR code indicating the stay. To get a QR code, visit the municipal website https://cda.ve.it , select Request Exemption, then select I am a guest in an accommodation in Venice and click Request Exemption. Enter the arrival and departure dates. On the data entry screen, enter the name of the hotel (after entering the name of the hotel, you should see HOTEL METROPOLE [CASTELLO,4149] - code 305), then add the names of other guests in the Add holder field. Save the purchased vouchers in digital form and, if they have been verified, present them to authorized personnel at the main access points of the city.
